Christian Standards

SOFBI prepares men and women to be leaders in Christian service. Therefore, SOFBI students must refrain from using tobacco or narcotics and drinking alcoholic beverages. Also, students must abide by the Student Code of Conduct. Before applying to SOFBI, applicants must review the school’s mission, purpose, and Statement of Faith to ensure that they are in essential agreement with the terms thereof. SOFBI recognizes that some applicants may have uncertainties in their beliefs. We welcome and encourage applicants to discuss their concerns with the Director of Admissions.

Academic Standards

To be eligible for admission to SOFBI, applicants must possess a high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma, based on the General Education Development (GED) test. GED applicants must have achieved a total score of 225 with a minimum score of 45 in each section of the test. All applicants are required to submit an official transcript from their highest level of education completed. SOFBI does not accept credits from other Bible institutions. Please note that SOFBI reserves the right to admit students who do not meet all of these requirements. Therefore, we encourage all those who are interested to apply.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Spirit of Faith Bible Institute does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin, or disability status in the administration of its policies, procedures, and programs. Students with disabilities needing reasonable accommodation to access any service or participate in any activity at SOFBI should contact the Office of Student Affairs. Decisions regarding reasonable accommodation are made on a case-by-case basis. If you believe that SOFBI has failed to comply with this policy, you may contact the Office of Student Affairs to discuss your concerns or initiate a formal complaint through SOFBI’s grievance procedure.
