SOFBI operates on a yearly basis with nine months in each academic year

  • Indoctrination
The SOFBI Indoctrination Service is a time set aside for students to receive impartation from our Founder, President and CEO, Dr. Michael A. Freeman; regarding his vision for SOFBI, what is expected of SOFBI students during their development; and most importantly, counting the costs of answering the call that God has mandated for their lives. The Indoctrination Service is the official start of each academic year.
  • Orientation
The SOFBI Orientation is held during the second week of the academic year. Orientation follows the Indoctrination Service from the prior week and all students are required to attend. The Orientation is facilitated by the Chief Operations Officer (C.O.O.) and serves as advisement of the policies and procedures of SOFBI and expectations for the academic year. Students will also be addressed by the Academic Deans and any other Faculty and Staff members appointed by the C.O.O.
